Swim Lessons at MVA begin on June 17!

School is almost out, and the new Mission Valley Aquatic Center is gearing up for a loaded summer schedule of aquatic programming to fill the void.

Starting on Monday, June 17, group, private and semi-private swim lessons will be available for all ages. There will be four summer sessions June 17-28, July 8-19, July 22-Aug. 2 and Aug. 5-16. Group lessons cost $45 per child ($40 if the child has an annual swim pass). You can sign up for one or all of the two-week, 30-minute sessions that run Monday through Thursday. Classes begin at 9 a.m.

Learn more about MVA swim lessons on the Swim Lessons page, and follow this link to view the Session 1 Group Swim Lesson Schedule and register your child for a class.

Don’t know which class to take? Call us for guidance or stop by during open swim for assessment. All lessons include water safety skills. Proper swimwear is required.

Private Lessons and semiprivate lessons are available for 50-minute and half-hour sessions. Call or stop by to learn about private lesson pricing.

Stay tuned for more information coming out this week about youth and adult swim teams and water aerobics classes.

As MVA gets up and running, we hope to offer additional programs and events such as:
● Lifeguard training and certification
● Clinics for competitive strokes, starts and turns
● Water Polo
● Scuba and snorkeling
● Kayaking
● Diving

If there is something that you would like to see offered at MVA, please contact Dana Johnston, dana@mvaquatics.org
